Launched in 2007 with seven founding partners in a small 15-square-metre office, BankM today is firmly established on the capital market as a corporate finance specialist with an unusually broad range of banking services. Wherever strategic decisions are made in the international capital market, BankM’s interdisciplinary team supports SMEs in the German-speaking markets with individual services, innovative solutions and consistent contacts. From young technology start-ups to fully-fledged listed groups of companies, well over 100 corporate clients now rely on our wide range of services. Creative solutions, the highest compliance standards and conditions suitable for SMEs are what set us apart.
Right from the start, the aim was to support companies in strategic financing solutions, often too complex and therefore inefficient or too expensive for customers to build up their own expertise. While most banks sell standardized financing products, BankM focuses on a flexible, product-independent offering. This approach minimizes the time and money spent by clients, ensures a marketable capital mix and thus optimizes financial success. BankM thereby covers the entire spectrum of debt and equity financing for medium-sized companies. In addition to capital measures such as IPOs and capital increases, bond issues, as well as the arrangement of venture capital financing and classic bank loans, BankM is one of the leading designated sponsors for small and mid-cap stocks and has established itself as a sought-after provider of technical settlements such as securitization or mediator of paying agent functions.
